Out The Box Fest returns for its third year in 2027, bringing five nights of live music to The Mash House and The Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh.

The festival showcases some of the exciting new bands emerging from Edinburgh College Music, giving them the chance to take the music they’ve been writing, rehearsing and developing throughout the year onto some of the city’s best-loved stages.

Across five nights, expect a packed and varied lineup spanning rock, pop, indie, alternative and plenty in between. Out The Box is all about discovering new music, supporting emerging bands and giving the next wave of artists a proper live platform.

Each band appearing at the festival will have their own page on the Out The Box website, featuring bios, photos and video performances, so you can get to know the lineup before the shows.
